Calling all young Trad musicians for the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus

Lennonbus 300x200

Calling all young trad musicians (u18) – would you like to create, perform and record your own compositions with professional sound engineers?

Music Generation Sligo, in partnership with Fleadh Cheoil Sligo 2015, is offering an amazing opportunity to one group of 6-8 young traditional musicians, to spend a day on the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus this August. With the assistance of on-board engineers in a fully equipped state-of-the-art music studio, young aspiring musicians can learn how to record and produce original music, produce and shoot music videos and documentaries and complete a broadcast quality music video.

We are looking for a group of a high standard with experience of performing original music together – the group should be 6-8 in number, members must be under the age of 18 and all available on Wednesday 12th August 10am-5pm. Please contact Music Generation Sligo to express your interest before Friday 10th July.

The bus will be in Stephen Street Car Park Sligo, open for public tours on Tuesday 11th August from 10am to 5pm - all are welcome. Wednesday 12th will be the recording day for the participating group only.
